Elevator Operator was a lift steward on the RMS Titanic.
Biography[]
He was first seen on April 14, 1912, when Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater were running away from Spicer Lovejoy. He was helping a first-class-couple out of the elevator before being rushed and ambushed by Jack and Rose when they were running from Lovejoy. His co-worker rushed to take the elevator down and he hurried to slam the metal gate, only just shutting it in time as Lovejoy slammed into it.
On April 15, 1912, during the sinking, he was asked by a steward to come help at the top of the gate of the main stairwell; as the mob there was growing violent trying to evacuate.
He died in sinking as nome of lift attendants survived actual sinking.
